Monitoring of Information

We monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the Teen Line web site.

WebTrends Live is used to analyze traffic to the Teen Line Web site. WebTrends Live does not maintain individual profiles for visitors, nor does WebTrends Live collect data that might identify the individual visitor. WebTrends Live only collects aggregate data.

Protecting Personal Information

Teen Line’s policy states information shared from the message board or through emails or regular mail will not be shared with outside agencies unless a person is suicidal or homicidal. At that time local law enforcement will be contacted and attempts will be made to assure the safety of the individual.

Use of "Cookies"

"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. Even without accepting cookies, you can still use most of the features throughout the Teen Line web sites.

Teen Line Policies Regarding Disclosure of Personal Information

Teen Line may provide aggregate statistics about our customers or demographic related site information to reputable third-party programs, these statistics will include no personal identifying information. This information is used only for the purpose of reports.
